President, Cotton Association of India

Shri Atul S. Ganatra is the Chairman-cum-Managing Director of Radhalakshmi Group of Companies. He is a leading industrialist and apart from trading in cotton, his Companies are also involved in power generation and real estate.

Shri Ganatra has an extensive experience of over 40 years in cotton and currently he is the President of Cotton Association of India.

Arun Sekhsaria

Managing Director of DD Cotton Pvt. Ltd.

Arun is an expert in the area of Risk Management, Quality Control and Forex Trading. Arun is also on leadership role of various National Industry Associations namely, FIEO (was committee member) , Cotton Association of India, (Ex Director) Advisory committe on Raw Cotton in MCX/NCDEX, Cotton Advisory Committee, etc.

His forte is marketing and having travelled extensively all over the world he has been successful in giving impetus to the Group’s thrust in local and global markets. Due to this efforts the group has clientele in all the S.E. Asian Countries , Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc.

Economist, Senior Editor and Policy Commentator, Guruswamy Chandrashekhar is a global agribusiness and commodities market specialist. He passionately analyzes and comments on agriculture, agribusiness and commodity markets (including energy and metals) as also international trade and developmental issues.

Apart from writing for India’s most credible business daily (The Hindu Business Line) for well over two decades and appearing on business television and providing policy inputs for the government, he has been speaking regularly at national and international forums on a range of topics including Indian macro-economy, food and nutrition security, role of technology in agriculture, trade and investment opportunities, global and Indian commodities market outlook and so on.

Dinensh Nolkha

Managing Director of Nitin Spinners Ltd.

After completing his professional education, the entrepreneur instinct in Mr. Dinesh Nolkha prompted him to enter into cotton Textiles industry. He was instrumental in setting up Nitin Spinners Ltd. in the year 1993 with an initial investment of Rs. 3.00 Crores .With continuous expansions, Nitin Spinners Ltd. Is now one of largest manufacturers of Cotton Yarn with installed capacity of 300000 spindles, 3500 Rotors producing 75000 tpa yarn pa at its two locations. The company is also having 168 weaving machines and 63 knitting machines for manufacturing of knitted and woven fabrics. The company has also set up a modern dyeing and finishing facilities with a capacity to manufacture 360 lac mtrs of finished Fabrics. The company is having global presence with exports to more than 50 countries including European Union, USA, UK, China/Hong Kong, Latin America, Africa and other Asian Countries.

Deepak Mehta

Head – Energy & Agri

Mr. Deepak Mehta is associated with Multi Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX) since 2005 and is currently heading the Energy & Agri division. He has over nineteen years of experience in financial sector. He manages relationships with more than 100 large members/broking houses (pan India) and corporates in financial & physical sector. He is responsible for promotion of energy & agri contracts, setting up of corporate hedging desks for price risk management, contract designing & promotion, launching of new commodities, promotion of different trading strategies, execution of MOUs with corporates, associations, seminars for promoting futures contracts, interaction with the regulators, development of spot markets, international exchange ventures, etc. Major commodities handled by him include Crude Oil, Natural Gas, Cotton, Mentha Oil, CPO, etc.

Mr. Deepak Mehta is a Mechanical Engineer from Bangalore University and also has a post graduate degree in MBA Marketing from CCSHAU, Hisar.

Lalit Mahajan

Vice President (raw materials) – Vardhman Group

Lalit Mahajan is associated with Vardhman Group for more than 31 years. He has looked after commercial, sales & marketing of yarns & manufacturing of shirts functions in Vardhman Group prior to coming in raw materials procurement function.

Currently he is the Vice President (raw materials) looking after procurement of cotton for entire Vardhman Group.

Prashant Mohota

Managing Director of Gimatex Industries

Prashant Mohota (B.E, MBA), is the Managing Director of Gimatex Industries, a textile company having multiple locations (Hinganghat, Mumbai & Ahmedabad) manufacturing yarns & fabrics domestically and for export to more than 80 countries. Hailing originally from Rajasthan, his fore-fathers setup a unit which today is more than 118 years old & he holds the unique feat of being the 6th generation business entrepreneur in the same family business. In 14 years of his own business life, he has helped his company grow from 120 crore spinning company into 1000+ crore vertically integrated company in textiles right from ginning, spinning, weaving & processing.

Believing in the importance of sustainability & growth of society, he is also involved in various Social organizations such as Schools & Hospital as trustee & executive member of Bhavan’s GVM (Hinganghat Kendra), Progressive Education Society & Mathuradas Mohota Science College. He has also been the Past President of his Rotary Club.

Prashant Agarwal

Joint Managing Director At Wazir Advisors

Prashant has worked in manufacturing, sourcing and marketing departments of leading textile and apparel companies.

He has been a speaker at various national and international textile & apparel conferences / seminars e.g. CCI, CII, FICCI, IAF, etc. He has served as guest faculty at IIT (Delhi), IIM (Ahmedabad) and been on the board of some of the most successful textiles parks in India.

Rajiv Garg

Managing Director of Garg Acrylics Ltd.

He joined his family business at the age of 21. Handled steel business and ventured into spinning in 2000 with Acrylic spinning today his company has a spindle capacity of 4 lacs which is among one of the highest in north India.

He was the president of Northern India Textile Mills’ Association (NITMA) from 2016-2019. Mr. Rajiv Garg was awarded Young Business Achiever award by Times of India in 2011

Rakesh Goyal

Executive Director – DCM Textiles (A Unit of DCM Nouvelle Ltd).

Mr. Rakesh Goel is executive and whole time director on the board of DCM Nouvelle Ltd. He is MBA from Punjab Agricultural University and has served various organizations at top management level in a span of 4 decades of his career. He served at HAFED for 10 years before joining DCM Group in 1990 and has been working at various positions across textile business. He has well rounded experience with multiple functions exposure on purchasing, marketing, plant operations & projects implementation among others. He has end to end experience of all textile operations. He had been Management Representative for ISO 9002. He has been spearheading TQM movement in DCM Nouvelle Limited, which has yielded astounding results for the Company.

S.K Khandelia

President & CEO Sutlej Textiles and Industries Limited

Mr. S.K. Khandelia, President & CEO of the Company is currently looking after the entire businesses of Sutlej Textiles and Industries Ltd.

Mr. Khandelia successfully leads a team of over 15,000 people stationed at its manufacturing units, namely, Rajasthan Textile Mills, Bhawanimandi (Rajasthan), Chenab Textile Mills, Kathua (J&K), Birla Textile Mills, Baddi (H.P) and Damanganga Home Textiles, Bhilad (Gujarat). Endowed with sharp, creative and sound judgment and decision making, Mr. Khandelia displays in abundance the qualities of an administrator par-excellence.

Mr Sanjay K Jain is the Managing Director of TT Limited. It is a Rs 700 crore vertically integrated textiles company (fibre to fashion company). The company is listed on both NSE and BSE. Its brand TT is more than 50 years old and its products are sold not only all across India, but also across 65 countries globally. Sumeet joined Louis Dreyfus Company’s Cotton Platform (Allenberg Cotton Company) as a Trader in Memphis, USA in 2008. He is currently the General Manager for LDC India, Cotton and moved to the India office in 2010 to strengthen the group’s cotton business in the sub-continent. Over the last 9 years he has actively worked with various associations in and Exchanges in India to strengthen the cotton contracts and promote fair trading practices.
He is a BE from Mumbai University and an MBA in Finance from The Gies College of Business at University of Illinois, USA.

With 25 years of experience in cotton ginning, spinning mills and knitting industry. Mr Jayesh Patel belongs to a well-known cotton business family in Gujarat. He is the 4th generation in this field. He has a thorough knowledge about the cotton industry from farm stage to finished stage. He is from the most famous S6 Cotton Growing belt in Surendranagar District, Gujarat.

Young and Energetic Entrepreneur who is working for the development of society and is running OMAX School, Collage and OMAX Hospital for the benefits of employees and local people.

Vibhu Nath

Senior VP, Olam Cotton

Vibhu Nath is Senior Vice President in Cotton Division of Olam International Limited based out of Singapore. He is a part of the Global Cotton Trading Team and Management Committee of Olam. Apart from being directly responsible for Olam’s cotton operations in India and Far East, he is also leading Olam’s efforts to set up supply chain in Asia to offer textile products made from traceable & sustainable cotton.
